A Journey of Gratitude, Renewal, and Vision

Day 1 (May 20) – Thanking God for 40 Years

Scripture: Psalm 107:1
“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.”
Prayer: Lord, we thank You for sustaining our church for forty years. We praise You for every blessing, every testimony, and every life changed.

Day 2 (May 21) – Remembering God’s Goodness

Scripture: Psalm 103:2
“Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits.”
Prayer: Father, help us remember the many ways You have blessed this church. May gratitude always fills our hearts.

Day 3 (May 22) – Honoring the Vision of the Church Planters

Scripture: Habakkuk 2:2
“Write the vision and make it plain.”
Prayer: Lord, thank You for the vision that started this church. Help us continue that vision with faith and dedication.

Day 4 (May 23) – Unity in the Church

Scripture: Ephesians 4:3
“Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.”
Prayer: Father, unite our hearts as one family. Help us love, support, and encourage one another.

Day 5 (May 24) – Love for One Another

Scripture: 1 Peter 4:8
“Above all, love each other deeply.”
Prayer: Lord, let love grow stronger in our church. May our kindness and compassion reflect Christ.

Day 6 (May 25) – Spiritual Maturity

Scripture: Colossians 2:6–7
“Continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him.”
Prayer: Father, help our church grow deeper in faith and stronger in spiritual maturity.

Day 7 (May 26) – Hunger for God’s Word

Scripture: Joshua 1:8
“Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips.”
Prayer: Lord, create in us a deep hunger for Your Word so we may grow in wisdom and truth.

Day 8 (May 27) – A Heart for Prayer

Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 5:17
“Pray without ceasing.”
Prayer: Father, teach our church to pray faithfully and consistently in every season.

Day 9 (May 28) – Strength for Our Pastor

Scripture: Galatians 6:9
“Let us not grow weary in doing good.”
Prayer: Lord, strengthen our pastor and renew his spirit as he faithfully leads the church.

Day 10 (May 29) – Wisdom for Church Leaders

Scripture: Proverbs 3:5–6
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart.”
Prayer: Father, guide every decision made by our church leaders so that it reflects Your will.

Day 11 (May 30) – The Power of the Holy Spirit

Scripture: Zechariah 4:6
“Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit.”
Prayer: Holy Spirit, fill our church with Your power and presence

Day 12 (May 31) – Servant Hearts

Scripture: Philippians 2:4
“Look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.”
Prayer: Lord, help us serve one another with humility and love.

Day 13 (June 1) – Blessing the Families of the Church

Scripture: Psalm 128:1
“Blessed are all who fear the Lord.”
Prayer: Father, bless every family in our church with peace, strength, faith and in every other area of their lives.

Day 14 (June 2) – Guiding Our Youth

Scripture: Ecclesiastes 12:1
“Remember your Creator in the days of your youth.”
Prayer: Lord, guide our young people and help them grow to become strong and committed followers of Christ.

Day 15 (June 3) – Blessing the Children

Scripture: Matthew 19:14
“Let the little children come to me.”
Prayer: Father, protect and guide the children of our church and help them know Your love and grow in grace and in the knowledge of Christ daily.

Day 16 (June 4) – Joyful Worship

Scripture: Psalm 100:2
“Worship the Lord with gladness.”
Prayer: Lord, let our worship always be filled with joy and sincere praise.

Day 17 (June 5) – Sharing the Gospel

Scripture: Romans 1:16
“I am not ashamed of the gospel.”
Prayer: Father, give us boldness to share the good news of Jesus with those whom you put in our path.

Day 18 (June 6) – Growth in the Church

Scripture: 1 Corinthians 3:6
“God has been making it grow.”
Prayer: Lord, bring spiritual, numerical and financial growth to our church according to Your will.

Day 19 (June 7) – Impacting Our Community

Scripture: Jeremiah 29:7
“Seek the peace and prosperity of the city.”
Prayer: Father, help our church bless and serve our community in meaningful ways that will draw them to you.

Day 20 (June 8) – Compassion for the Needy

Scripture: Proverbs 19:17
“Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord.”
Prayer: Lord, give us hearts of compassion for those in need.

Day 21 (June 9) – Healing for the Broken

Scripture: Isaiah 41:10
“Do not fear, for I am with you.”
Prayer: Father, bring healing to those who are hurting emotionally, mentally, relationally, spiritually, and physically.

Day 22 (June 10) – A Spirit of Generosity

Scripture: Luke 6:38
“Give, and it will be given to you.”
Prayer: Lord, teach our church to give generously with joyful hearts.

Day 23 (June 11) – Trusting God for Provision

Scripture: Matthew 6:33
“Seek first his kingdom.”
Prayer: Father, help us trust You to provide everything needed for our church.

Day 24 (June 12) – Protection Over the Church

Scripture: Psalm 46:1
“God is our refuge and strength.”
Prayer: Lord, protect our church and cover us with Your presence. Cover our families, homes and buildings under the blood of Jesus.

Day 25 (June 13) – Humble Hearts

Scripture: Micah 6:8
“Walk humbly with your God.”
Prayer: Father, help us always stay humble and dependent on You and in all situations.

Day 26 (June 14) – Forgiving One Another

Scripture: Ephesians 4:32
“Be kind and compassionate… forgiving each other.”
Prayer: Lord, teach us to forgive and extend grace to one another as you have done for us.

Day 27 (June 15) – Strong Fellowship

Scripture: Hebrews 10:24–25
“Encourage one another.”
Prayer: Father, strengthen the fellowship and unity within our church family.

Day 28 (June 16) – Courage During Difficult Times

Scripture: Deuteronomy 31:6
“Be strong and courageous.”
Prayer: Lord, help our church remain faithful during every challenge.

Day 29 (June 17) – Serving With Joy

Scripture: Psalm 100:2
“Serve the Lord with gladness.”
Prayer: Father, let us always serve with joyful hearts and grateful spirits.

Day 30 (June 18) – Spiritual Revival

“I live… to revive the spirit of the lowly.”
Prayer: Lord, revive our church with fresh passion for You. Fill us with the power of your Spirit.

Day 31 (June 19) – Faith That Pleases God

“Faith is confidence in what we hope for.”
Prayer: Father, increase our faith as we trust in Your promises.

Day 32 (June 20) – Vision for the Future

Scripture: Isaiah 43:19
“See, I am doing a new thing.”
Prayer: Lord, show us the new things You want to do through our church.

Day 33 (June 21) – Guidance From God

Scripture: Psalm 32:8
“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go.”
Prayer: Father, guide our church in every step we take.

Day 34 (June 22) – Discipleship

Scripture: Luke 9:23
“Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves.”
Prayer: Lord, help us grow as true disciples of Christ.

Day 35 (June 23) – Joy in the Lord

Scripture: Psalm 16:11
“In your presence there is fullness of joy.”
Prayer: Father, fill our church with lasting joy.

Day 36 (June 24) – Peace in the Church

Scripture: John 14:27
“Peace I leave with you.”
Prayer: Lord, let Your peace fill every heart in our church.

Day 37 (June 25) – Being a Light

Scripture: Philippians 2:15
“Shine among them like stars.”
Prayer: Father, help our church shine brightly in the world.

Day 38 (June 26) – Thankfulness for Every Member

Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 1:2
“We always thank God for all of you.”
Prayer: Lord, thank You for every person who is part of this church family.

Day 39 (June 27) – Commitment to God’s Work

Scripture: Colossians 3:23
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart.”
Prayer: Father, strengthen our commitment to serve You faithfully.

Day 40 (June 28) – Faith for the Next 40 Years

Scripture: Jeremiah 29:11
“For I know the plans I have for you.”
Prayer: Lord, as we celebrate forty years, lead us into a future filled with purpose, faith, and blessings.

 

Closing Prayer

Lord, we thank You for the forty years You have guided this church. We celebrate every life touched and every blessing You have given. As we move forward, fill us with faith, unity, wisdom, and love. Help us continue shining the light of Christ in our community for many years to come. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
